Working across both our Beverley and Lincoln campuses, you will be an enthusiastic and highly organised Lecturer in Public Services. Teaching Level 2 and 3 students in Further Education you will work as part of a team to assess, mark and report on students’ work as well as managing and maintaining student morale and behaviour. Working within a team, devising and reviewing learning programmes you will be involved in all aspects of teaching and learning.
You will be expected to discuss and share your current knowledge on a range of topics from Leadership and Teamwork to Crime and its Effects. You may also be required to undertake the role of Course Manager as appropriate.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have a minimum of 1 years’ industry experience working with the Uniformed Public Services. Evidence of continuous professional development is essential in addition to 1 years teaching or training experience. A teaching qualification is desirable, though not essential as we will support you in your teaching development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, with a drive to help people succeed.
