Lecturer in Spanish

The Role

The Spanish teacher will teach and inspire a group of Norwegian students who are on a one year program at our college. You will contribute to the curriculum development of the relevant courses based on learning criteria provided and participating in and contributing to course evaluation and review. As part of the job you will also liaise with the client to ensure that the criteria for course achievement are being met and implements.

You will develop and enhance new materials in this area as well as contribute positively to the continuing improvement of the College. 

The Person

The successful applicant will be an experienced educator with a passion for delivering student success and driven to deliver continuous improvement. You will have a demonstrable track record in delivering innovative and creative teaching and learning and an up to date in depth knowledge of curriculum delivery.  

Along with a relevant degree, a teaching qualification and evidence of CPD, you will also have:

• A demonstrable ability to use inspiring teaching methods, produce engaging teaching materials and maintain up-to-date schemes of work.

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

• A commitment to the ethos of team work.

• Maths & English qualifications at level 2 or above.

Tenure: Casual – Hourly paid

Salary Scale: £19.70 - £29.54 per hour

Hours: 3 hours per week for 28 weeks
