This is an exciting time to join the UCBB team as we seek a talented and enthusiastic Sport & Exercise Science Lecturer to support the delivery of a range of sport and exercise science based undergraduate programmes. The University Centre Bishop Burton host excellent facilities to support the delivery of sport-based programmes, this includes two strength and conditioning suites, a new human performance laboratory equipped for a range of exercise and performance testing, new sport massage clinic and access to sport halls, outdoor playing pitches and a commercial gym.

As part of the role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of our new BSc Hons Sport, Coaching and Development and BSc Strength and Conditioning degree programmes. You will be responsible for developing, designing and delivering teaching and student-centred learning and assessment of students across modules assigned to your area of knowledge and experience. Ideally, you will hold applied experience within your area of expertise to support the continued focus on applied teaching within our programmes. We are particularly interested in applicants who have a passion for sport & exercise science and supporting students in achieving positive experience on their programme of study.

Applicants should be a graduate in sport and exercise science, health sciences or related discipline and ideally hold a postgraduate degree within the desired specialisms and have the relevant experience as stated in the person specification. Hours of work will be 37 hours per week with a degree of flexibility expected for some evening and weekend work.
