An opportunity has arisen to join our STEM department as we are seeking to appoint IT Lecturer on permanent basis.

The purpose of this post is to teach IT across a range of courses including BTEC qualifications from levels 1 to 3 and BTEC Level 3 Creative Media. The ability to teach Computing Information Systems and/or Creative Computing at HE level is desirable, as well as the ability to contribute towards the development of AS and A level IT and/or computing,and to act as a personal tutor.

The successful post holder must have an appropriate degree or professional qualification along with a teaching qualification or a firm commitment to complete a recognised teaching qualification. Proven experience of teaching on courses across the provision range is essential along with experience of working with a diverse learner profile and an understanding of quality assurance procedures. A good understanding of ICT packages and implementation into the curriculum is also required.
