Recently merged GBMet College are offering opportunities to deliver a high quality teaching experience for students aged 16 and over in the Brighton and Worthing areas. 

We are looking for maths teachers with passion and enthusiasm to join our dynamic team in September 2018.

For many learners, the opportunity to secure their grade through Further Education presents a valuable second chance and therefore we are looking for teachers with the ability to motivate learners with a grade 3/D to achieve their goals. 

Smaller class sizes and access to the latest technologies will allow you to offer a greater degree of personalised learning to your students and you will also have the opportunity to contextualise learning to make it vocationally relevant.  

Investment in staff is key to our success and GBMet offers a wide range of internal and external training opportunities to help you develop your skills within an FE setting. 

Salary £24,498 - £34,956 per annum*

*Which will include a potential market supplement depending on experience & qualifications

About the MET

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.

The MET offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16 year olds leaving school, full and part time courses for adults, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university degrees. The MET operates across five campuses in Brighton, Shoreham, Worthing and teaches around 3,500 16-18 year olds, 7,500 adult learners, 1,000 undergraduates and 800 apprentices.
