Job overview
We are seeking to appoint two part time Lecturers to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths within our cross-College provision. This is a high-profile area of the college and crucial in supporting our learners with their development and progress onto higher courses or the workplace.
You will preferably possess a degree in Maths or a related subject area, and will either possess an advanced level teaching qualification (PGCE/DET or equivalent) or be willing to work towards qualification. Ideally you will have experience of teaching Maths, but more important is the ability to engage and enthuse 16 to 18 year olds from a variety of vocational disciplines. We would also welcome applications from graduates who are looking to commence a teaching career in Further Education.
