Job overview

Creative Media is a dynamic, industry-facing department that provides our learners (mostly aged 16-18) with the skills and knowledge with which to progress onto a relevant degree at HE level or directly into a rewarding career within the media, journalism or games industry.

We are seeking to appoint a Media Lecturer (full time or part time) to deliver across a range of UAL Level 2 and Level 3 programmes and contribute to the development of courses within our successful Creative Media Section, specialising in Game Design.

Together with a degree in a relevant subject area, you will have good working knowledge of editing systems and some experience of teaching Media. A background in the games design industry and experience of VFX/animation is desirable. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, and with many training and development opportunities and scope for promotion within the College, you will be embarking on a varied and rewarding career. We will support you to develop your career in teaching, including fully funding a recognised teacher training qualification, which is undertaken at the College.
