Are you a fully qualified motor mechanic and hold a Level 3 qualification? Do you have experience of working in the Motor Vehicle industry? 


If so, this could be the role for you!


Here at Carshalton College, we are now looking for a Lecturer to teach and assess on a range of Motor Vehicle courses. Providing tutorial and pastoral care for a group or groups of students, you will deliver training and assessment activities to a range of learners on our full and part time courses and arrange and monitor work experience activities. You will also carry out assessment, evaluation and other administrative or workshop duties relating to the post.


We’re looking for an individual who has experience of teaching and assessing Motor Vehicle practices in a teaching and learning environment or in the workplace and who can work successfully as part of a team. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will demonstrate the ability to teach at a level appropriate to the students and in a way that recognises their different learning abilities. You’ll have knowledge and understanding of current curriculum changes and the implications for learning strategies in Motor Vehicle and be able to provide effective support to students and other individuals.

Carshalton College is a co-educational further education college based in Sutton. It is a non-denominational school.

The college has been an education provider for over 60 years. It is a major provider of full-time, part-time, apprenticeships, access, undergraduate and supported learning courses.
