An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Business, Secretarial and Law team working at at one of the top performing Colleges in England. Truro and Penwith College has again been awarded Grade 1 in all key judgments, and secured ‘Outstanding’ status, following a four-day inspection in February 2016.

The successful applicant will deliver our Edexcel AS/A2 Economics classes and the ability to be flexible in terms of delivery across programmes within the area would be an advantage. The successful candidate would also act as Personal Tutor within a pastoral capacity and be committed to inspiring students. Applicants should hold a degree or a similar professional qualifications and a recognised teaching qualification.

There is potential consideration for a Deputy Team Leader role within the department which will involve specific curriculum responsibilities and coordinating academic and pastoral support across the Programme Area. The Deputy Team Leader should have a strong commitment to the importance of quality assurance procedures; have good organisational and communication skills, and be committed to delivering excellent pastoral support.
