Lecturer: Plumbing and Heating 

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.

Salary: Associate Lecturer Scales 1 – 4, £21,136 - £24,943 per annum, pro rata.  Main Grade Scales 1 – UP1, £26,911 - £38,680 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).  

Hours of Work: Band A.  Annualised hours 699.6 – 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends). 

Contract: Permanent, flexible fractional.   

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Swansea Construction Centre to teach at Neath, Afan and Swansea Construction Centre).  

Qualifications: Candidates must have a level 3 qualification in Mechanical Services (eg NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent) and have relevant industrial experience.  You must have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).  Candidates must also hold a teaching qualification (although training may be provided).  Candidates should be IT literate equivalent to level 2.
