About the role

As a lecturer/ senior lecturer in Education Studies (Research Methods) you will contribute to the continued development and delivery of our high quality and innovative Education Studies programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research levels. You will be expected to bring considerable knowledge and expertise in the field of educational research and required to lead modules related to research and research methods, contribute to others core and optional education studies modules or undertake course leadership, depending on your experience.

About you

We need you to be flexible team player, open to new ideas and interested in new challenges. You will be someone who shares our values and commitment to social justice and student-centred teaching and learning. You will have a doctoral qualification with proven expertise in the field of educational research, both qualitative and quantitative, and should either have an HEA fellowship or be currently working towards submitting your application. You will also have a commitment to scholarship and research to generate new knowledge, enrich your teaching and enhance the student experience. Strong communication and work management skills will be required. You will become part of an inspirational team of established and well respected academics within the IfE.
