£40,523 to £46,924 per annum (Lecturer)
£48,327 to £55,998 per annum (Senior Lecturer)

This is an opportunity to join the successful School of Education and Lifelong Learning at UEA (www.uea.ac.uk/edu). The School is embarking on an exciting period of growth and development and is committed to initial teacher education.

We seek a Modern Foreign Languages specialist to join the successful Secondary PGCE team. You will also contribute to students’ development in the general professional aspects of secondary teaching, including their supervision in school placements, as well as to other teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels (and, if appropriate, research) within the School of Education and Lifelong Learning.

You must have the requisite academic degrees or equivalent qualifications, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the relevant person specification.

The post is available on a full time indefinite basis from 1 August 2017, or as soon as possible thereafter. It may be offered on an Academic Teaching and Scholarship (ATS) or Academic Teaching and Research (ATR) basis, according to experience.

The post is subject to a criminal record check at enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
