This is a 0.2 FTE post and is temporary for 2 years
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Department of Secondary Education in the Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Teaching & Learning (Secondary). You will support the leadership of secondary initial teacher education in secondary partnership schools.
You will possess a good Honours Degree (UK, or IK equivalence) or equivalent experience, a Master’s qualification or equivalent experience or be keen to work towards a postgraduate qualification. You should have Qualified Teacher Status and will have had teaching experience teaching in the secondary age phase (11-19) and experience of leading initial teacher training in school.
You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate that you are an excellent communicator and have an exemplary track record within teaching.
