Lecturer: Sport  

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.

Salary: Associate Lecturer Scales 1 – 4, £20,020 - £23,626 per annum, pro rata.  Main Grade Scales 1 – UP1, £23,626 - £36,637 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

Hours of Work: Band B.  Annualised teaching hours: 552.9 – 677 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract: Flexible Fractional, fixed term until 12 September 2020.  

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Llandarcy Academy of Sport).

Qualifications: Candidates must hold a level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline, (degree or equivalent).  You should have relevant experience in coaching and hold a teaching qualification.  Candidates must be IT literate equivalent to level 2 and hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent). Assessor Awards and/or Verifier Awards would be advantageous.
