We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed teacher of Biology to teach on our A level programme. It is an exciting time to join the College and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.  

You will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed in Biology. You will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons, monitoring the performance of students against Alps target grades and providing effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students. You should also be able to contribute to the teaching of BTEC Applied Science and Cambridge Technical Lab Skills.

You will have relevant experience of teaching both AS and A2 level Biology in a post-16 setting. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students with varied teaching and learning strategies. A relevant degree (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification are essential requirements for this post. 

The Loughborough Sixth Form College is a priority department for the College and we are looking for candidates who will work to develop the provision within this area and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery. You should demonstrate outstanding practice regarding teaching and learning.
