Contract type: Fixed term for duration of apprenticeship (18 months)
Working pattern: 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Monday–Thursday 15:45 –21:45, Friday 13:45–20:45 + additional 6 hours flexible study leave over the week. **Potential for additional hours on completion of Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification**
Salary: In the first year of apprenticeship you will be paid at National Minimum Wage 18-20 at £8.60/hour, namely £13,416 per annum (£16,546.40 FTE)
Leisure Team Member Apprentice overview
- Support in all aspects of running the Leisure department.
- Responsible for ensuring that the appropriate equipment is available at the correct times and set down in the correct manner as directed by the Duty Supervisor.
- To ensure that money handling and accounting is carried out in accordance with department / school procedures.
- You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service in your actions.
- To support the cleaning contractors, you are to ensure that any facilities used during your shift are maintained at an appropriate standard, with a facility clean by HBK leisure staff where necessary.
- To ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained in both your own and your teams’ actions.
- You will be responsible for ensuring to the best of your ability the Health and Safety of yourself and our customers. You should be aware of all procedures and safe work practises implemented within HBK Leisure
