We are looking to appoint people who are passionate about working with our students, supporting their academic, emotional and physical needs. Ideally, you will be someone who is seriously considering a career in teaching. In addition to an induction and training programme, if you wish to develop your career with us you will be provided with comprehensive support in preparation for making an application for teacher training or to undergo the school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) programme with us. You will be required to assist teachers by taking lessons using materials and plans provided by colleagues. 

We are particularly interested in those with experience in or a passion for teaching in PE, Humanities, Maths and/or Science at both primary and secondary level. 

The role is for 37 hours per week, term-time plus one training day. It attracts a Grade 6 (Points 18 to 21) with a pro rata salary of £15,756.67 - £17,151.97 (depending on experience). We are mindful of the competing demands people face in their lives and are happy to consider part-time applications for this role.
