£15,186 - £15,294 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting, Scale 1c

Location: Hayes, Middlesex (The Acorns SRP)

Work Pattern: 8:30am - 3:30pm with 30 minute lunch break

We are looking to recruit a level 1 teaching assistant to our fantastic provision catering for the needs of pupils with Autism ranging from ages 5-11. 

This is a warm and friendly provision with a supportive team atmosphere. You will be given the opportunity to work with a range of professionals including speech therapists, occupational therapists and music therapists. In addition you will liaise with teaching staff across the school. We have access to a range of professional development opportunities for the right candidate as well as highly experienced staff who can provide in school training and support. 

Depending on the candidate’s skills and experience, this role may be offered as a Level 2 position.

The candidate will be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of children, both in The Acorns and the mainstream setting.

This will also include playground supervision during break time and lunchtime.
