Actual Salary: £16,897- £18,051

Contract: 32.5 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only + 5 Days

We are looking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher to further children’s learning and deepen their understanding for a Maternity cover period. The post holder will work under the direct supervision and line management of the Class Teacher/Principal.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience of Working with or caring for children of relevant age.
  • The ability to relate well to children and adults
  • The skills to adapt to different abilities, key stages, subjects and situations.

Morley Newlands Academy is a large primary school, with over 650 children from Nursery age right up to Year 6. Situated close to the centre of Morley in south Leeds, our academy serves families from across the local community.
