We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to support our growth, BACA is in a unique position supporting art and design creative learning in schools in Beijing. You would be joining a team to support this learning in different schools as part of the BACA team. We are looking for teacher who can work independently in a range of schools developing creative learning. This is an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself into Chinese culture at the same time providing a quality art and design education to Chinese students.

Purpose of the job:
- To support and assist the course leader with supervision of learners as well as subject specific skill training and idea development.
- Writing and conduct workshops and briefs that further develops students conceptual and technical abilities. To regularly check progress of learners and ensure they work on briefs and assignments as well as advising students on personal achievement goals.
- To assess and grade students work at the end of each component according to assessment structure for assigned cohort of students.
- To support the art and design pathways assigned and prepare students accordingly for progression to A Level courses.
Essential Requirements:
- Teaching qualification
- Relevant qualification in art and design
- Knowledge of contemporary ideas in art and design
- Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching art and design
- An understanding of the common problems that learners face in their studies
- Use appropriate level of technical skills to enable professional teaching delivery
