Job Description:
As a Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop their skills in a nurturing environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold at least a relevant Level 2 Certificate (e.g., CACHE or equivalent) related to supporting teaching or special educational needs
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children who have diverse learning needs
- Willingness to learn new strategies for supporting pupils effectively
