Level 2 Teaching Assistant

8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday (term time only)

(32.5 hours per week, ½ hour lunch unpaid)

Salary Scale C point 3

Actual Starting salary £15,187

The governors are seeking to appoint a L2 Teaching Assistant to support our pupils on their learning journey.

We are looking for applicants who:

• Have previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant

• Have previous experience of working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with pupils with complex needs

• Have good standards of literacy and numeracy equivalent to GCSE grade 4 (c) or above and competency with IT

• Are organised and creative

• Can remain calm under pressure

• Are adaptable and have a positive attitude

• Enjoy challenging and inspiring children

• Are committed to team work

• Are willing to undertake relevant training

• Have the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents, colleagues, governors and visitors to the school in accurate spoken English in accordance with the Fluency Duty.
