Contract type: Permanent 30 hours per week, (38 weeks per year, term-time only). 8:45AM-3:15PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Part-time hours would be considered for the right candidate.

Salary: Level 2 Scale 3 dependant on experience, namely £16,698 - £17,002 (FTE £21,575 - £21,968)

Level 2 Teaching Assistants

Godmanchester Bridge Academy is seeking to appoint well organised, enthusiastic, and motivated Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 and in small groups with SEND children across the school.

This is a great opportunity to work in a growing school with a friendly but dedicated teaching team and wonderful children.

The positions are for 30 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per year).

The ideal candidate will:

·        Enjoy and have experience of working with a range of children with a variety of needs.

·        Have experience in following teaching plans and using a wide range of positive behaviour strategies.

·        Demonstrate good people skills and show commitment to working in a caring, supportive team.

·        Be creative, flexible, and kind in their approach to supporting children to achieve their best.

·        Be able to support the needs of children including intimate and medical care where needed.

·        Desirable but not essential is a working knowledge of Makaton.
