Saint Mary's Catholic College is seeking an outstanding Student Services School Officer to commence in January 2019. The successful applicant will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a high level of emotional intelligence and show initiative. Duties of the role include being the College's designated first aid officer. The successful applicant will be able to liaise with the members of the school including students, staff and families with tact and empathy. School experience, knowledge of eMinerva and Office 365 will be considered desirable. Previous experience in administration strongly desired.


Saint Marys Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 College offering families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning. Kingaroy is situated approximately 2 3/4 hours north-west of Brisbane in the centre of the picturesque South Burnett wine growing region.  The College has been proudly serving the families of the South Burnett region since 1990, following the amalgamation of the St Marys Parish Primary and Secondary Schools. Weeks Worked:  School term weeks - plus additional hours/weeks as negotiated

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):   12 months with the possibility of continuing

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   38 hours per week and some rostered school holiday periods.

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Level 3

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
