We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

A vacancy has arisen within the Invictus Education Trust for a Teaching Assistant based at Pedmore High School. Pedmore High School is a smaller than average 11-16 mixed, multi-cultural comprehensive. Graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the school provides stimulating and innovative opportunities for learning; transforming the aspirations and educational outcomes for all students.

We are seeking to appoint from May 2024 a hardworking, highly motivated, good communicator who is passionate about helping young children achieve their best. 

Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification and have some experience of working with secondary aged children.

The role would include delivering small groups of phonics (training given if necessary), supervising small groups within a classroom or small Intervention session and working alongside students with behavioural challenges. We are particularly interested in meeting candidates who have specific training in behaviour management (eg, ELSA training).

The needs of the school and the students it supports may be subject to change. As part of this role you may be required to work 1:1 with student(s) with specific needs as defined in their EHCP.
