Teaching Assistants required for Primary Schools in Sheffield

You will be working as a Teaching Assistant in a large Primary school in Sheffield, who require teaching assistants for daily cover and long term needs which lead to permanent opportunities. As the school is so large they have a high number of cover needs on a regular basis.

These Teaching Assistant opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from the school we are looking for experienced primary teaching assistants to fill these needs ASAP

They are a good rated school in their most recent ofsted with elements of outstanding.
 

You will have the opportunity to work in a positive atmosphere with clear values set by the whole school. The initial temporary needs fit nicely alongside those who have other obligations during the week.

· In order to be a Primary Supply Teaching Assistant you will need a minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare or related.

· Recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years is desirable, either within a mainstream or SEND setting.

· You will need to be an approachable and patient teaching assistant who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times.

· It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to teachers and other staff in the school.
