We are looking for a Librarian to manage and develop the Library to instil a love of reading and learning for the whole Academy community. You will need to have a passion for reading and the ability to inspire and engage our students.
You will need to be motivated, have excellent communication and organisation skills, have a flexible and calm approach and be able to respond to the needs of the Academy. You will embrace the vision for how learning can be supported and extended. You will need to have an genuine interest in books from all cultures or an interest to learn more. As our newly appointed librarian you will have the opportunity to be part of a school working party where we discuss reading strategies and materials.
