Do you enjoy working with young people and are you passionate about delivering excellent service?
Join our friendly team and you’ll not only have a rewarding career, but you’ll also become part of a community, which is dedicated to helping its staff as well as its students to develop their skills and fulfil their potential.
Working with learners individually and in groups, you will provide support for their learning, development and progression; in addition to maintaining a user friendly and efficient learning environment. The library is a central hub for our school, is well stocked and equipped, and is popular across all year groups. From dedicated library lessons through to clubs, before and after school sessions, or just loaning out something that captures the imagination, you will be a vital cog in our inclusive school.
As well has having excellent administrative and organisational skills you will be working closely with the students, promoting high standards of behaviour, supporting them in class where necessary and liaising with parents and external agencies. You will therefore need to be confident, proactive and have the aptitude to work independently and as part of a team. Experience would certainly be an advantage, but we look for potential as much as knowledge.
A job share position may be a possibility for this role, this option would be discussed at interview.
Are you able to:
• Inspire and innovate?
• Nurture and develop (yourself as well as others)?
• Commit to, and raise further, high achievement and motivation?
We will offer:
• A supportive learning environment
The opportunity to make a difference
• Local Government Pension Scheme
• The benefit of being part of a multi-academy trust offering the support of experienced colleagues across our schools and greater opportunities for career progression
