  • Being responsible for the library budget to ensure best value, organising the purchase of books, learning materials and multimedia resources.
  • Organising a team of student library volunteers and providing training for those students who wish to take on responsibility within the library.
  • Using reading age data to analyse gaps in pupils’ reading ability.
  • To effectively plan for interventions (leading some 1-1 and small group sessions) to address gaps in pupils’ reading.
  • To lead and coordinate our whole school reading initiatives.

We can offer you:

  • A supportive, friendly working environment
  • A team committed to supporting professional development
  • Enthusiastic children who love coming to school

  • A school with high aspirations for its pupils and staff

  We would like you to:

  • Be a positive role model for all members of the school community
  • Be able to work well with young children and confident in establishing secure relationships
  • Have high expectations of yourself and our children
