37 hours per week, 40 working weeks (term time plus 5 non-student days plus 1 week holiday working)

We are looking for a Librarian to join our English team. You will manage our library, supporting students to  access a broad range of learning resources to develop their learning and information handling skills. You will also promote literacy, reading for pleasure and independent learning.

Previous library experience is not essential - more important is a passion for reading and the ability to inspire and engage our students. You will have knowledge of young people’s literature, have previously worked with young people and have great organisational and computer skills.

The working hours for this post are 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-330pm on Friday.
