30 hours per week, Term time only plus 10 working days
Salary: £17,850 - £20,093 pro rata (actual salary £13,512 - £15,210 per annum)

Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students. We are presently seeking an assistant to join our dedicated Literacy and Learning Department. The library and learning resources centre have high quality resources and provide an excellent learning environment for our students.
You will help our students to develop research and literacy skills, support the library’s promotion of wider reading, assist with library enrichment activities and liaise with programme areas to ensure that the our resources are used effectively. The role is varied and will offer a rewarding opportunity to enable our students achieve their full academic potential.
You should have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a supportive manner. An interest in reading and knowledge of trends in adult and young adult fiction are equally important to the role.
