An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Library Assistant to join an experienced library team at St. Dominic’s Sixth Form College. The Library and Learning Centre, which was completely refurbished in 2015, plays a major role in our students’ academic success. The successful candidate will have responsibility for staffing the enquiry desk (issuing, returning and maintaining resources), supervising students and assisting with the efficient running of the LLC. We are seeking a hard-working and enthusiastic individual to join this important team at the College. An interest in working with young people is essential, as are proven IT skills and a good sense of humour. No previous library work experience is necessary but an interest in literacy essential. St. Dominic’s is an exciting place to work, where the staff team are focused on quality and achievement in all areas of College life.
