Library Assistant (Neath College)

To carry out general library duties.

Salary: Scale 2, Points 14 - 16, £17,364 - £18,179 per annum, pro rata. Equivalent to £15,073 - £15,781 per annum. 

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (may include early mornings, evenings and weekends).  

Contract: Permanent, full time, part year, 37.8 weeks per annum.  

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College).  

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a level 3 qualification and/or equivalent experience and be IT literate to level 2 (ECDL or equivalent).  Ideally you will hold a First Aid Certificate, although training will be provided.  Experience of working in a library, information or educational setting would be advantageous as would experience in a customer service role.  Candidates must also have the ability to communicate in Welsh.
