Leighton Park School is looking for an energetic and visionary Library Manager to lead the development of our sector-leading School library at the heart of our innovative new Sixth Form Centre. This is a full-time, term-time plus two weeks role for someone who is passionate about reading, research and the transformative power of information. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day running of the library, ensuring it functions as both an academic research centre and a welcoming space that inspires a love of reading across the school.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills who can work collaboratively with staff and students to support learning, scholarship and wellbeing. The Library Manager will play a key role in embedding the library into the wider curriculum, supporting qualifications such as the IB Extended Essay and EPQ, and maintaining high-quality print and digital resources. They will lead on developing partnerships with local and national organisations, promoting reading across the school, and helping to shape the library’s evolving role in the school community.

You will bring creativity, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people in their learning journey.
