The Magna Carta School is seeking to appoint a part-time Library Manager with a love of literature to develop its existing library resources and build on a passion for reading amongst the students. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to redevelop the library environment whilst engaging with the student body through the resource and the after school homework club.
This role is for five days per week, 2.5 hours per day from 1.30pm-4.00pm. The school are also advertising an additional part-time role of Science Technician that may be a further opportunity for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
• knowledge and experience of the management of reading materials
• be enthusiastic and committed to developing a love of reading with students

The Magna Carta School is an 11-16 academy in the Unity Schools Trust based in Staines-Upon-Thames, with approximately 1100 students on role. The school is a founder member of The Unity Schools Trust and the 1215 Learning Partnership, determined to enhance lives for young people across this area of Surrey.
