Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools for pupils aged 10-18. Our outstanding sports facilities include a 25 metre, 6 lane swimming pool within our busy sports centre.
The School requires a qualified lifeguard to work during term time on a fixed term basis until July 2019.
Working hours will be 8.00am to 4.00pm Tuesday and Thursday, 8.00am to 5.00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday term-time only from September 2018 to May 2019, 40.5 hours per week (Peak time) and reduced hours May to July 2019, 20 hours per week. Uniform, a daily lunch allowance and additional training included. The hourly rate of pay for this post is £8.74.
The successful applicant will be a qualified lifeguard, with experience working within a leisure environment. They will be working as part of a well-established team to ensure the safety of our students and visitors. The post involves lifeguarding, pool maintenance and general duties around the pool and sports building.
