Literacy Learning Support Assistant
37.5 hours per week, term time only
Do you have a passion for literacy? Do you have experience of supporting young people to develop their reading, writing, and understanding of language? If so, you may be the person we need.
Saracens High School is a new 11-18 free school that opened in September 2018 for pupils aged 11-18, in the Colindale area of North London.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team that has a significant impact on the young people we serve. Our fantastic first cohort of Learning Support Assistants have secured teacher training positions and we are looking to replace them, and add to the team as we enter our second year. You will be creating a strong culture and ethos in the school, in line with our values of Humility, Hard Work, Honesty and Discipline.
Our school is a place where a person enters the building and knows this is a school where the learner is empowered to “be the best that they can possibly be”; where the individual abilities of each pupil are recognised, and where coaching for life skills as well as academic excellence is at the core of all we do.
