At Brannel School we are expanding our Learning Support Team to reflect a whole school focus on literacy. Improving literacy has a significant impact on the academic attainment, self-esteem, motivation and behaviour of young people, and reading has a direct impact on their ability to communicate effectively, develop empathy and to broaden their knowledge of the world. As one of our new Literacy Teaching Assistants, your focus will be on supporting individual and small groups of students to achieve expected progress in literacy.
