We are looking for a hands-on  couple (Full time Groundsman and  Part time Chef/Cleaner) to take care of our brand new school site and grounds in Morden, South West London. 


Groundsman - The ideal applicant will have a professional and discreet attitude and work to a high standard. You will be responsible for groundskeeper, looking after our animals and minor repairs within the main house and the outbuildings.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Groundskeeping – a landscaping plan will be provided for you to follow to keep our site continually evolving, with high bio-diversity and environmentalism at its core

• Mowing, watering plants, cleaning windows, pathways and steps

• Fruit and vegetable picking from our productive garden

• Animal care within our school farm – feeding, mucking out, general care

• Assistance with school parties and events

• Interior and exterior maintenance as required

• Manage supplies and deliveries of household consumables

• Fire circle – clearing and laying of fire, collecting logs

• Checking security systems, intruder, fire and CCTV

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Enjoy working outdoors
  • Have varied skills in plant and animal care
  • Be able to work on your own initiative
  • Awareness of Health & Safety legislation and working in a safe manner
  • Have excellent people skills

Working Week:  Animals will need daily care but groundskeeping and other duties will be limited to Monday-Friday. The Children are on site Mon-Thurs and Staff only on a Friday.


Chef/Cleaner - hours vary from 3-6 hours a day based on school needs

Accommodation: A self-contained one bedroom apartment

Start date: September 2021
