You will play a key role in ensuring the best quality of learning for our pupils. This role carries a teaching responsibility in Lower KS2.
We are looking for an experienced or aspiring leader who will:
- have an outstanding impact on the attainment and progress of pupils, both in their own class and across lower KS2
- monitor and develop the lower KS2 curriculum in conjunction with senior and subject leaders
- monitor behaviour across lower KS2 and support staff in liaising effectively with parents
- make a positive contribution to school improvement and delivering our school aims and values
- be committed to listening to children and responding to their individual needs.
- build effective relationships with children, families, staff, governors and the wider community.

West Row is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational primary school situated near Mildenhall, Suffolk. It is a state community school set up to serve both the West Row Village area and the wider community. The school will provide 270 places for pupils aged 4-11.
The school building is late Victorian in design; it lies 16 miles from Bury St Edmunds and 25 miles from Cambridge.

West Row’s motto is “Encourage one another and build each other up”. This supportive attitude sums up life at the school. Staff aim to create an atmosphere in which children can celebrate their achievements at the same time as showing strong self-discipline. Students are also taught to live together and show mutual respect, recognising the contribution and value of different traditions and cultures. The curriculum is designed to meet pupils' needs as well as helping them deliver work to a high standard.
School resources include a vegetable garden and secret garden, as well as a wildlife area and large playing field.
