Job overview

Join a happy team and highly successful school with excellent working conditions in the independent sector. The school is an independent prep school in Putney for children aged 3 to 11.

We seek a teacher with the highest expectations who will enjoy working in a well-resourced school with a strong team of supportive colleagues. To join our happy and committed team, you need to be an outstanding teacher, to be able to enthuse and inspire the children you teach and possess a 'can do' approach to teaching and school life. The role of class teacher will require that you teach a broad range of subjects; however, the ability to teach English and maths to the highest standard is key.

In return, we offer a friendly and supportive working environment, excellent non-contact time and the opportunity to further your career both on the job and by undertaking further training and professional development. The role is professionally interesting and, in teaching terms, fun.

The post is offered as a permanent position starting from September 2024. Salary will be based on qualifications, experience and the successful applicant's ability to contribute to the life of the school. We welcome applicants from Black and Ethnic minority backgrounds, as they are currently underrepresented in this area.

Closing date for applications: Monday 29 April by 09:00 am, although an appointment may be made before this date if an early applicant should prove successful. Application form and supporting documents can be completed online or emailed to jobs@prospecths.org.uk.
