Lower School German as a Foreign Language
Teaching across the age range (5 - 11 year old students)

Essential to have:

  • German as a Mother tongue
  • Qualified teaching status
  • Experience in teaching primary school students from five to eleven years old
  • Experience teaching German as a foreign language
  • Effective communication skills with students, colleagues and parents
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Experience using digital technology to support student learning
  • Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and active participation in school life

 

Very desirable to have:

  • EDK teaching status recognition
  • Experience working in an International School context
  • Experience in developing German continua

Deutschlehrer/in Lower School (Alter der Schüler: 5 bis 11 Jahre)
Pensum 50 - 100 % nach Vereinbarung

Sie sind eine motivierte und teamfähige Persönlichkeit, die unsere dynamische, innovative Schule mitprägt. Sie tragen zur stetigen Weiterentwicklung des Deutschprogrammes an der Lower School sowie schulweit bei. In unserer interkulturellen, leistungsorientierten und internationalen Schule fühlen Sie sich wohl. Sie sind bereit mit den Eltern und Kolleg/innen eng zusammenzuarbeiten.

Anforderungen:

  • Deutsch als Muttersprache
  • Pädagogischer Hochschulabschluss
  • Einschlägige Erfahrung im Unterrichten von Grundschulkinder im Alter von 5 bis 11 Jahren
  • Erfahrung im Unterrichten von Deutsch als Fremdsprache
  • Herausragende Kommunikationsfähigkeit mit Schülern, Kollegen und Eltern
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit digitalen Medien im pädagogischen Bereich
  • Sehr hohe Einsatz- und Teamfähigkeit und proaktive Teilnahme am Schulbetrieb

 

Wünschenswert:

  • EDK Anerkennung (kantonale Erziehungsdirektion)
  • Erfahrung an einer Internationalen Schule
  • Vorhandene Kenntnisse über forschend-entdeckendes Lernen
  • Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Deutsch Kontinua
