Smart Teachers is recruiting for a LSA / SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Support Assistant to join an “Outstanding” SEN school in West London (W9). This role will involve supporting secondary age pupils, whose main needs is Speech and Language. The school offers a brand new building, small class sizes and a dynamic, forward thinking team. This LSA / SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Support Assistant role is available immediately and will initially be through until the end of the academic year, with potential for this to be extended.

• Supporting students with mild to moderate SEN (mainly Speech and Language)

• Daily rate between £70- £85 (depending on experience )

• Secondary SEN school 

• Rated ‘Good’ in most recent Ofsted inspection

• Strong and established leadership team 

• Smaller than average class sizes 

• Brand new building, opened in 2015   

• Central location with good transport links (Hammersmith and City, Bakerloo and London Over ground lines in close proximity)

In order to be considered for this role, the LSA / SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Support Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:

• Have recent classroom experience (minimum 6 weeks)

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
