We are currently seeking a hardworking committed and cheerful Lunch Time Supervisor to help organise and supervise Children during their lunch break.This role involves supervising the children in a variety of ways to make their lunchtime fun, happy and safe.
The successful candidate will be someone with a commitment to King Solomon International Business School (King Solomon) ethos and value, a willingness to work and the flexibility to support the achievement of all students.
It is essential that the candidate demonstrates that they have the students’ well-being at the forefront of all that they do.
The candidate will be expected to promote and practise safeguarding in relation to the welfare of the children they come into contact with and therefore an extensive knowledge and understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures and legislation is essential.
What we are looking for someone
- To undertake as part of a team, the set-up of the dinner hall and provide support to pupils when eating and playing at lunchtimes.
- To lead play activities.
- To support children’s emotional, social and behavioural well-being at lunchtimes.
- To promote healthy eating.
Our ideal candidate should be attentive, punctual and have previous experience working with children in a school or nursery environment. This role would particularly suit somebody who is looking for flexible working hours or is looking to supplement other work in nursery or other child care areas. The expected hours of workwill be 3 hrs between 11:30-14.30.

King Solomon is a popular free school which opened in 2015 in the heart of Birmingham City. King Solomon is a multi-denominational Christian school which, when fully established, will provide education, with a business emphasis, for pupils aged from 4 – 18 years old. The school currently has Reception, Year 1, Year 7 and Year 8 cohorts and will be enrolling new cohorts of Reception and Year 7 pupils in the 2017 September entry.
