Oaklands is an outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. We have a Primary school (New Oaks) and a Secondary school (High Oaks). We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.  

Due to our rapid and continued expansion, we are looking to appoint additional Lunchtime Classroom Assistants to support and supervise our students over the lunch period. Lunchtime Classroom Assistants are invaluable members of our team and must be sensitive and resilient to the needs of our pupils. Candidates should be strong team players and be prepared to assist with the toileting and eating /drinking programmes of all students and pupil supervision. Scale:                   Hounslow Single Status Pay Scale – Scale 4

Actual Salary:       £4,265 - £4,499 per annum

Contract Type:      Permanent and Part time (8 hours per week), term time only (38 weeks per annum)

Provisional Working hours:        

Monday 11:45am to 1:45pm and Tuesday to Friday 12:15pm to 1:45pm (High Oaks)

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday 12:00pm to 1:30pm and Wednesday 12:00pm to 2:00pm (New Oaks)

The working hours may change slightly to meet the needs of the service.
