10 hours per week, worked between 11:00am and 1:00pm, term time only.  

We are looking to recruit two friendly and positive lunchtime supervisors with a genuine passion for working with children and clear understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities to assist in Foundation, providing lunchtime cover.  

The role of a Lunchtime Supervisor is to supervise children whilst eating their lunch followed by playtime supervision outdoors (and indoors depending upon the weather).  This will include ensuring children’s behaviour is appropriate in line with the School’s Behaviour Policy and encouraging eating where required.  The playtime role will involve engaging with children during activities and games, encouraging participate and leading on activities when required, whilst also ensuring the children’s safety and welfare.  

The role will also include responding to any accidents and injuries and contacting the School Nurse as required as well as ensuring accidents are recorded.

The successful candidates will be organised, flexible, patient, caring and enjoy creating a fun filled environment for children.  They will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to quickly form positive working relationships with colleagues.
