Lunchtime Supervisor

Courtwood Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in the daily life of our school, helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment where children can thrive. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils throughout the lunchtime period, including supporting handwashing routines, overseeing entry into the dining hall, assisting during meal service, helping younger children where needed, encouraging good table manners, and providing attentive supervision in the playground or classroom. Working within a school community that values kindness, respect, aspiration and resilience, you will contribute to pupils’ wellbeing and help foster a happy and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

You will enjoy working with young people and be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. The successful candidate will be calm, approachable and attentive, with the ability to supervise pupils effectively while promoting positive behaviour and inclusion. A team-focused approach, good communication skills and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community are essential. Above all, we are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, patience and a genuine commitment to helping create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for all children.
