Lunchtime Supervisor

Waverley Primary has an opportunity for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join their committed team during the daily lunchtime period to encourage sports and games.

All of our children have the potential to reach their goals, and this is a unique opportunity for you to join a supportive, hardworking, caring team and be part of their journey. Every day is different, but every day is rewarding. 

Main duties: 

• To encourage and support pupils playing sports and taking part in activities over lunchtime
• To oversee the children in the playground, ensuring there is a safe environment at all times
• To work as part of the lunchtime team
• To actively promote the Academy’s positive behaviour policy and core values
• To encourage a healthy lifestyle through active promotion of positive play.

Our ideal candidate will: 

• Have previous experience working with children in a primary setting 
• Have good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team 
• Enjoy sports and games and be able to encourage pupil involvement
• Be kind, caring and compassionate 
• Have a First Aid Certificate (desirable).
