Job overview
We are looking to appoint 3 lunchtime assistants to work with our pupils, with a range of complex physical and learning needs aged 4 to 19. The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, confident individuals with excellent interpersonal skills to assist and support in the supervision, engagement and development of pupils during lunchtime. This will be under the overall direction of the Senior Lunchtime Supervisor and the Deputy Head Teacher. The school has been graded as ‘Good’ in our last Ofsted inspection (November 2016).
Duties will include:
- Supporting our pupils with eating and drinking
- Encouraging and supervising a range of play and recreational opportunities
- Assisting with personal care
Experience is not required as a full training package will be provided. The successful candidates will join a team of motivated staff who are supportive of each other and the pupils. This is a great opportunity to be part of an excellent team, making a difference to the pupils at Fairfield School.

Working Hours: 10 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 11.45am to 1.45pm
