We are looking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor to support our busy team. You will be based at Southey Green Primary School and Nurseries ( Sheffield 5) supporting children between the ages of 3 and 11 years.
Start date : ASAP
Hours 7.5 hours per week
Salary Grade 1 (£23,656 Pro Rata)
Job Description:
- To work as part of a team delivering lunchtime supervision and play activities in a safe and caring environment
- Supervision of all areas where children are present
- Assistance with cleaning of all eating areas: clearing trays and plates from tables and wiping spillages as and when they occur
- Administering basic first aid as appropriate
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
- Be aware of and support difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
- Appreciate and support the role of other professionals
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
- Any other related duties as may arise.
- Have the ability to converse at ease with members of the public and students and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential to the role.
